Thought i would share my scorpius track with you
I currently have 5 xlc lane changes
1 lap counter & 1 pit entry lane brain
track length is close to 35-40 metres in total length
Rick can you use the same lane brain for pit entry & pit exit
& also for ghost cars do you need a lane brain for its own pit entry & pit exit
I think i am up for some more
also the lane brain press buttons can they be extended to a remote location
the furthest would be about 3-4 metres away from lane brain
was thinking of mounting them all together & numbering them for easy use
when they need to be reconfigured etc.

You had some questions.

We already discussed (Scorpius thread) using the same LB for pit entry and pit exit. This cannot be configured in the RMS. However, some guys and I decided to use to S/F-Line beacons for end-of-pit-detection. Works fine when S/F line is parallel to pits.
You will find some pics in the thread, illustrating the issue. Hope that helps.

I cannot imagine, extending the lane brain reset button to some meters being an issue. However, Rick will have to jump in.

... I do not have an answer for pace cars, as they aren't there yet... However, you will need to have a separate lane to position them, just to make sure, they do not interfere with other cars, when waiting for their mission.

Hi Mark,
I don't recommend extending reset wires as thet then act as antennas and can affect the LB. Also once set they shouldn't need reconfiguring.
Not sure on how pace cars will work yet but probably they will need an LB and pit bay.
