I was watching the Cric Crac videos of the SCX and Scalextric digital systems and my wife -- who has less than a passing interest in slot racing -- peered over my shoulder and quipped:-

Ohh... they've stolen Beppe's idea!

Another glance while runnning the Scalextric MotoGP video -- another quip:-

Why don't they lean into the corners? They look so stupid sitting upright!

Don't like motorbikes, tilting or otherwise.

Uptake of these little two wheeled deviants in their first season may well be high but I suspect once folk see 'em meandering down the straight and pootling all upright around the twisty bits they'll not get many repeat purchases. Especially if the ciggy sponsorship ain't there.

Are you saying bikers are deviants wankel? Shame on you! Well.. I suppose sometimes we have to deviate across the road to pass the tin box which is blocking our progress down the Queen's Highway

The lack of ciggy sponsorship on the models would indeed be another disappointment - and no, I don't smoke. Oh well.. at least we can let the minors play video games such as Grand Theft Auto Vice City - 18 cert and in full view in most games shops. How many copies get pruchased for under-18's I wonder? IMHO a far worse impact on society as a whole than letting kids play with models showing tobacco adverts.
