I've been thinking about next year's NASCAR class. At the moment it is dominated by Scalextric products but they haven't made any NASCARs for over two years with no prospect of any more in the near future. As a result the grids consist almost entirely of Jimmy Johnson and Dale Earnhardt replicas which is a bit boring. These will also become increasingly more expensive to replace as time goes on.
I am wondering whether you would like to switch to SCX for next year. There are loads of different liveries to choose from and there is a huge surplus of them in the marketplace with prices under £16 at the moment. Yes, they are a bit slower on our track than Scalextric but that shouldn't matter too much if we are all using them.
Opinions?
