National GT3 Series 2023 Round 1 – Wolverhampton SCC 18th- 19th February
INVITATION: We are pleased to invite you to enter Round 1 of the 2023 National GT3 Series at Wolverhampton Scalextric & Slot Car Club over the weekend of 18th and 19th February 2023.
National GT3 Series Rules 2023: Eligible Manufacturers (4)- NSR, Scaleauto, Racer Sideways, Slot.it – please refer to Slot Forum >Events >National GT3 Series thread for list of eligible models and technical rules.
Series Participation: No more than 44 drivers may register; Drivers must register by round 3 which is planned to be Rockingham. Registration Fee = £10.00 per driver for the series.
Event Awards – Top three drivers overall, best placed series newcomer and top over 50 yrs. old (as of 1st Jan 2023) = five awards in total.
Race fee £10.00 per round: Please pre-pay by bank transfer (details on request) or send Cheque or Postal Order payable to ‘Wolverhampton Scalextric Club’ and marked GT3 Entry. Guest Drivers are welcome. Guests pay £10.00 race fee but will not score championships points. Send payment to - Malcolm Scotto 73 Broad Street, Bilston WV14 OBZ
Note: Please let us know as soon as possible if it transpires that you are unable to attend on race day (Call or Text Chris 0753 545 7625 or Malcolm 0774 071 7140).
PROGRAMM
Practice on Saturday 18th February 2023 12:30 to 4 pm (please let us know in advance if attending).
Race day Sunday 19th February 2023 Doors open 8:15am (Practice for Sunday arrivals only).
Race format – 5-lane Aldersley track, pre-Qualifying (3 laps, fastest lap to count) to establish starting order, 3 minute heats, step-up finals.
Catering: Tea and Coffee will be available all day (£2 donation). Cobs (Cheese, Cheese & Onion, Ham) will be available to pre-order. Details nearer to the date.
