Just arrived in today is the long awaited new liveried Cartrix NSX. Quoted as the Raybrig version it will have the cat. no. CTX0408.

That´s interesting. I really like Cartrix NSX. Removed the magnet, added some weight and got myself really nicely performing, although very noisy, slotcar.

How much do you want for your NSX? Prepared to ship abroad?

Cheers!

I really like my Cartrix NSX. I tried taking the magnet out too, but the TX-5 motor is so powerful that it is very hard to control. It reminds me of the Scaleauto red motor, but with more torque!?!
I put the magnet back in, and it is as quick as my Scaley MG Lola!? I may put a TX-2 motor in so I can run it with my other non mag GT cars. Not a fan of the 2 screw body mount system, but with a little tweaking to get the body to sit flat, it runs well.

QUOTE (Wankel Ickx @ 17 Nov 2004, 12:32)Hate to say it, but based on my experience with the white (soon to be a "Scrapyard" auction on Ebay, I fear) one I'll pass on this Cartrix and wait for Ninco to do this livery.

I got mine new about 6 months ago and found it really good, very little tuning. I liked it so much I splashed out on an Overdrive lighting kit as well.
It keeps up with my Fly Saleen no problem.

Hey, your mileage will vary because I drive like Alan Jones on a Mobil 1 economy run.

Cartrix probably talk to Margate a lot and decided, like Hornby, that every car of theirs I buy should be a pup - hideous wheel rub on one rear arch because the body doesn't sit square on the twin screw mounts. Rubbish.

I'm rethinking the disposal....

It's good to see Terry from Gaugemaster Controls is continuing on from where Aaron left off. Although it did go a bit quite recently from Gaugemaster with the web site not being updated regularly. I was beginning to wonder whether we would ever hear from them again, but I guess it takes time to settle into a new job and get into the groove so to speak.

QUOTE (Wankel Ickx @ 18 Nov 2004, 15:50)QUOTE The Ninco one is out already???

Keep up, Swiss!

The Ninco cars appear to be this years - Epson, Arta

Here's the rest of the Gt-500 entrants.

I understand that Swisracer was asking for the Ninco car not for the 1:1 one.

Yes they are out now from the salon del Hobby week on.

They are fantastic. And the Stadler article puts Ninco and Cartrix on the track.
