Looking forward to this, I hear you will now be able to extend the track some what.

Email me the photos Jim, I'll post them on here.
Also, if we can help, I'd happily lend you a hand.

All the Best,
James

Hi Jon,
as the farm is still partially operational the electricity supply is very good and we are not as far out in the sticks as your club, but a genny may be a good idea should the worst happen. i have sent some photos to james to post on this thread so you can see how we are progressing.
bye for now,
jim.

I was thinking along those lines Jonny!

It looks very similar to both Liphook and Bolwextric when they were just grand ideas!

Good luck in your new "home", chaps

It`s the same type of building as we are in. I`m due to exspand Phoenix and instal another track, maybe two! Hard work aint it guys but realising the dream is what it`s all about.

Whilst some may talk the idea of a grand enterprise it`s takes small groups of dedicated lads to get down and dirty to make it happen. I wish Jim and all clubs all the very best, always. They are at the heart of the hobby.

Eastcote's home which is based in a Northwood Hills basement was an S & M dungeon when we arrived for the first time....

Trust me, I'm not joking... The owner of the basement owns the shop above it, and was an old member of Eastcote. He found out about what the current tenants used it for and chucked them out.

First time we arrived it was painted in red an black and has little rooms dividing it all up. Other features included a small cupboard with hooks in the ceiling and a shower in the corner of the main room.

The funniest thing was when businessmen kept walking in when we were renovating it...

To be honest... to me it looks like you got it easy!

PS. Sorry for the minorly related diversion. Can't wait to race there!

Hi All,
when the track was installed at AMS trading estate i had to cut 4 foot from its running length in order for it to fit. i still have the extra pieces and can put them back in when we move to the new building. however we could extend the track further if we construct some new straights. i will supply james with the photos as work progresses.
