I have a feeling - although I'm not certain - that it's an American remake of the worst bits of the French Trilogy of Taxi films which are world famous - if Inte has seen at least one of them

I saw it a few days ago. According to the credits it is based on a Luc Besson film, but didn’t say which one. My 10 year old twin boys loved the car crashes and Gisele Bundchen is in it to keep the Dads interested. Entertaining enough film, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it again.

I've got the original on DVD, it's a great film. I only understand a little bit of holiday Francais but even watching it on subtitles I find it a very funny film. Why can't Hollywood just leave these films alone!?

Coop - Not intending to rush out and watch the remake

You mean there's a TAXI 3? Well, I've got one and two - so for the sake of completeness I'll have to get that
Funny films they are!
Taxi showed the best way to dismount a scooter ever! (Brake and do a forward roll over the handlebars). A shame his mate held the scooter and didn't let it drop onto the road

Oh, and I'll watch the Yank version too.
