Hi everyone,

Here are some pictures of the new FLY GT-40 received this morning.
I tried to do my best for the pictures. I am not a specialist in slotcars, my apologies to the perfectionists.
Nuro will post some better ones as soon as he will be back from Farnham.

Have a nice week end

I'm in love with those headlights and the fact that the brightwork ain't as, well, bright, as the Hornby offering. Those knock-off wheels look much better.

And they've included the little lights on the numbers. How long till Swiss gets these working?

No comment from Moped yet. Is he on holiday, or just hiding?

Mr Nuro here.

This car arrived last Saterday morning 8 days after ordering it with express delivery from Spain.

Swiss and I'll put up a full review tomorrow. This car is very different from the Scaley one with a few good points, but many bad ones too.

Thanks Mrs Nuro for the photos. Thanks guys for your kind words to the wife.

More later...

Review - It's coming tonight we hope, as long as I can stay awake ! 8 hours driving on top of the drive from Colne to Folkstone via Birmingham, Tingewick and Ramsden, has taken its toll - Thanks for doing the night leg Nuro!

In the meantime, here is the reason my better half was in a strop when I got home...forgot to tell her these were on the way

Steve123, Yes I am here in Denver too. Tom is getting 10 #9's and a couple box sets. Should be here this afternoon. Usually after lunch they get there stuff out. If you want the box set it will move fast I think. The #9 car will be around a while because just about everyone has the Scaley version.

The German GT40 looks superb!
Excellent photos!
Out of curiosity I had a quick look round for UK suppliers of this car and it would appear that they are totally sold out - not in the least surprising. Hardly any less surprising, but contrary to the ravings of a certain person many months ago on another board, the Goodwood set of dirty GT40s is still very easy to obtain at less than the original list price.
Ten thousand was just a tad too many, I fear.
Probably several tads too many in actuality!
