Hi all. My name is Ian and im from the peterborough (uk) area.10 years (!) ago now i use to have a small set and do a bit of carpet racing but nothing special, so now at the age of 24 , i thought i would give it another go and it looks like iam in the hobby for the long term!

. I think my wallet has just heard me say that as it has just legged it out the door!

so for now, i need to get it back, once that is sorted, i will be then able to get some more done to a small analog layout that i have just started

Greetings from the other end of the world. Welcome to the madness.

It is possible to enjoy this hobby without taxing the wallet too much, but it ain't easy. It takes an awful lot of 'won't' power. And the odd binge occasionally when the won't power collapses under the stress is ok, isn't it? Isn't it?? Please tell me it is.

Hello. My name is Ember and I'm an addict. It's been 3 weeks since my last new slot car.... Ok.

I'll come clean. It's been 2 days since my last slot car purchase. I'd hoped second hand didn't count. I couldn't help myself. It was there so shiny. And an E-type. You know I can't resist them.

Be warned. Dealing with addiction can be hard work.
