Er? But the windows were painted out and the hubs were, er, white.

Me? I loathe Beemers but this is straight on to the buy list 'cos it's not a Mitty and these Raid cars are a laugh and a half sans mugnut.

I have to admit to liking this model. I would probably weather it a little to take the starkness from the wheels and give it a little more realistic look, but as a model I think it has been nicely done.

I think it suffers as most Nincos do from a certain quality to the tampo. I can't say what it is, a sort of thinness, but it is their only weakness.

Often wish we could get Ninco chassis/handling with Hornby tampo on Fly bodies!

My first thoughts were - yukkkk!!!!!! It looks very plasticky, but sometimes photo's can be deceptive (sometimes in the opposite way - in pics, scalextric's new street mustang looks pretty good, but in the shops it looks very plasticky to me)

I have felt Nincos efforts at realistic tampo & finish have been improving - the rest of the RAID series (mitsus and rangers) and the silver porsche 911 look great!

As a confirmed RAIDer, I'll certainly be having a look at one. Anyone know if Ninco are releasing other liveries?

It would have looked better had it got the silver split-rims from the Ford Ranger IMHO. However, it's great to see one in OFF-ROAD guise rather than sporting 25" alloys with elastic bands for tyres
The school run could now take place WITHOUT any tarmac in sight!!

I don't like it... although I like the 1:1 version very much!

Hope they bring out a less "toyish" version...
And if it's possible Ninco... bring out a road-version... to use as scenery and to cruise around in once in a while...

Jamie, I ran mine a little for the first time last night and would say that on first impressions she may be a bit more 'tippy' but that might just be down to green tyres (Barbour?).

I think I saw Scott venture out with one too but didn't get to ask him what he thought.

She was out and out fun, though! Just like the Pajero.
