We've just been informed by Ninco of 5 new cars due for release in October / November.

Of particular interest are the two Lola Ford Carts. These appear to have blue in just the right places to fit the car that was on the Ninco flyer which has been causing all the confusion.

The Jaguar XK120 should be very popular in British Racing Green (which doesn't show too well in the picture).

The muddy finish on the Renault Clio also looks pretty good.

(Ninco 50307) BMW M3 GTR Euro

(Ninco 50313) Renault Clio S1600 Go!!!! Muddy

(Ninco 50317) Jaguar XK120 Soft Top

(Ninco 50318) Lola Ford Herdez #4

(Ninco 50319) Lola Ford Herdez #55

No no..Its the right board Inte' !

Getting back on track...

I love that new Jag !
From pics I have seen it looked Black and I am more than happy to learn it will be green, the attention to detail seems right up there with the Bi Colour 166 (scale width to fit chassis aside as I don't think it is too far out. We won't mention the width of the axles here will we? I will do that in another post
) and the Metallic Blue Cobra.

It is a MUST have for me and has been on PreOrder since I first saw it was coming.

One of the Green CARTs also will be coming to live in my paddock to keep the first release happy. I LOVE this car and will be entheusing more in a review next week.

"Just hope they put in a NC1 and no magnet and not go the way of the Healy and Cobra."

Too right, Matt. Leave the magnets and high powered motors for the modern cars.

Can never have too many XK120s.

BTW, Swiss, a guy I have done some work for has a real 166 that his wife trundles round Goodwood every year and I would say the Ninco one is an excellent representation.

I also think the 166 is an excellent representation Mr M, but I have heard that it is too wide due to the fact it had to be fitted to a classic chassis. I am not sure I agree totally, the Top Slot offering for instance is almost identical.
Ninco is 49mm wide at the inner sill and 52mm wide at the outerwing lines, whereas the Top Slot version is 46.5mm and 52mm respectively.

I do have a slight problem with the width of the wheels, they didn't stick out past the arches but stopped directly under.

I adjusted mine and the finished effect looks like this...

as opposed to this, not so good but still clear as to wheelbase width, Ninco Pic...

with the Top Slot Coupe still under construction, the rear lights proving tricky to say the least. I have had to curve the holes for the rear lights as the resin is so thick at the back...

I used this exquisite book (written in both German and English) and the photos underneath for reference...

British Racing Green . . .
It is such a filthy color, not even sure it deserves the honor of being called a color!
On a small model car, it really doesn't show well but, even full size, on anything but a brilliantly sunlit day and very close up, it always comes across as being some version of slightly off dark grey, totally characterless and anything but attractive.
Sorry, Brits!

Never purchased a Ninco Jaguar, but I love racing the club car at Farnham. This car is a must-have. Definately glad to see it painted in BRG - hoorah! to patriotism an all that...

Thanks for confirming the spec Mr M.

Picked up the new Ninco catalogue today and it lists the new XK120 as having the NC1 motor, sprung guide and no magnet. Great news.

Also interesting to see the old SCX motor bracket is still available.
