I'm very soon going to start building my first permanent HO layout and I've been doing some layout tryouts shall we call them and I'd like everyone's thoughts or ideas on the 2 variations I have so far.

Hairpin version

My apologies for the blured pic it was taken on my phone.

Sweeping turn version.

A lot of cars don't like the Tomy 3" hairpins and can stop on them and I don't see that you gain much from the bridges, the best thing to do is make something and use it to see if you like it.

Slight technical problem there sorted now.

I used the hairpin version for a few days then thought i'd try the sweeping turn which I think is going to allow for more flow overall.

As for the bridges they are going to become landscaped tunnels etc.

You noticed my piles of track lol some more supports would be handy as the track moves everytime a car goes over it.

Once i get it onto a table ill build proper support structures that that my not be for a while yet so I'm a laminate racer for a bit longer.

Can you PM me your address again as I had to clear out my inbox the other day so I've deleted it, don't worry about the postage costs.
