Can anybody explain why some new posts aren’t appearing when I hit the ‘NEW’ button?

Going to need some additional details. New posts from what sections? Also, if they're your own replies to a thread, they won't be treated as new, so they won't populate when the NEW filter is set to the default "unread".

Can you go ahead and reply to this thread once more. I want to watch and see if it populates NEW posts.

Ok, that worked but there is a definite delay before it populates on NEW. Maybe 60 seconds or so.

I mean you won't see the thread populate the NEW posts page multiple times. It will simply update on that page with the latest post. Testing your thread mentioned above.

Do you sit on the NEW page or do you close the tab out? I just refreshed a setting, can you go and post a test reply in that thread?

Shows up.

I wonder if the page eventually times out if you leave it open. I kept the new page closed, randomly opened it and saw your post waiting.

The long way would be to go into each section that you WANT to show up in new posts and click "follow" (top right). Once thats done, you can filter the new posts page to only show unread followed content.
