Sprayed and decaled, just needs wipers and some kind person to make me a pair of number plate decals, 730 RKK, white letters on a black background
.

The vac windows don`t fit very well and I`ve got a run or two on the nearside! It`s a fantasy livery, no particular event or seeding number.

Thanks Dave, the resin shell wasn`t a good one to start with as you can see, but the finish will do for me, I don`t think it`ll be rallied in earnest but it will have a run round on club rally nights.

The numberplates size should be about 13x4mm, the front one will go above the grill where the Anglia badge should be.

Thanks Alan, thats about the style of plates I`m looking for.

As far as SRGB goes, it would have to go in modified class and wouldn`t stand a cat in hells chance against the NSR Porsche GT`s

Looks great Phil, it sure is a shame that Gareth decided to drop the scratch build class in favour of modified.

Personally, I think the prostock should be in with modified, and replaced by a scratch build class. I know of a handful of people who'd got ideas for scratchbuilds before Gareth pulled the plug at the bigining of last year.

Hi Grant - I`m cr*p at masking paint so I use Model Technics TrimLine, it`s a self adhesive coach line available in loads of colours and widths.

TrimLine Self Adhesive Coach Line. A 2½ metre length of 8 different width tapes on one roll. Widths' 0.5, 0.8, 1.3, 2.1, 3.3, 5.0, 7.0 and 10.0 mm. Colours available Black, White, Red, Yellow, Royal Blue, Sky Blue, Green, Orange, Silver, Gold, Lime Pink, Purple, Lilac, Cerise, Dark Blue, Turquoise and Wine.

Over here it sells for about £3.25 a roll.

It`s easy to re-position when you first put it on then sticks fast after about 24 hours. I use it all the time.

Simon - I think the reason that scratch built was dropped was that there were only about six or so entries, some people at the time didn`t agree with just using the one chassis and mabuchi type motors, which I thought was a good idea for levelling the competition, keeping it a small budget class. It`s dificult to accomodate everyones wishes as we all know.

As it is now it`s easier for people to buy a ready made racer like the NSR or Ninco GT cars in modified.

Dave - we need more narrow rally stages then

Hi, I love the Anglia model, Im looking to do my own version but cant find a shell with big arches on it adn Im not that good enough to make my own, but your Angle-Box looks good. The "JWRC" Anglia above belongs to my cousins son adn there is also a full "WRC" version raced by his Father too, I would love to replicate this car, if only I could find the right shell!!!

I don`t know of anyone making an arched Anglia shell, the one I had was an Ocar shell (which to be honest needs a lot of work to tidy it up, I didn`t do that on mine) I`ve had kicking about for years, I see they`re sold out on Pendle and there is another version in the resin kits section, BK13, which looks better in the picture but it`s on back order.

George Turner does a really superior version, but not arched.

To make my arches I pushed a Scaley Mark 1 Escort into some Blu Tac (primitive - I know) and filled the indents with Milliput then sanded and shaped them then Araldited them to the shell. With a lot of dremelling and sanding I got the shape, but I think I should have used resin as the Milliput will be brittle and probably won`t take hard knocks without cracking.

It`s a shame that no one manufactures universal resin arches

Good luck with your search
