Hi Guys, I am bored stiff so i thought i would tell everyone what is in the latest Scalextric Racer magazine.
The front page has picture of the TVR Tuscan "De Walt" and the Mercedes CLK "DTM". The writing at the bottom of the cover reads: MotoGP has arrived , Peter Emery takes a close look at the new bikes.

The contents reads:

2 Scalex & Startex - Scalextric Predecessors

3 On your Marques...

4 Club News

5 Goodwood festival of speed 2004

6 MotoGp has arrived

Well there you go! Now hopefully you are as bored as i was when i first started writing this!

I noticed that Mr. Emery was quite diplomatic about the MotoGP bikes
I appreciated the paragraph regarding operating the things - i.e. forget everything you already know about driving slot cars. He isn't letting people blindly think that the bikes will waste the cars.

Its funny Mr. Emery barely ever has a bad word to say about anything
in the Scalextric magazine - funny that.
Though he does incorrectly say the best controller for handling the bikes is
the 60ohms one , the best is the Prof. Motor by far - but they still are a
pile of tosh (I know , different thread !)

Back to the magazine though , it is really bad - but for the price of joining
you get a car and 6 issues - all for less than the retail of a car. Well that
was last year with the GT40 , but this year with the Dallara - well its cheaper
to buy a car.

fouldsc.. it's scalextric there isnt a problem with it.

if there's problems they are dismissed, it's ok and car be improoved basci tranlation

the handling is not quite upto the last model X
trans: basically it handles like a lada

the tampo printing is as always unflawed
trans: it's a bit crappy bumslot are better usually

there is a smooth power delivery
trans: the magnets far too strong for the poxy motor

it nearly broke the lap record
trans: if I put different tyres on changed the motor and generally tune the dog danglies out of it

no offence ladies - just bored!

am goin now tho, got to find some bit of card - I'm going to have loads of fun!
