Hi, when you say sticker's do you mean the motor label's, it started me thinking about these I like lot's of racer's remove the track side part of the label or it completly from the motor. With the newer motor's having a closed side and a open side for use on mag and nonmag track's and if the motor is used on both type's of track but you want to retain motor spec info why not put a label on one or both side's of the motor or even tampo printed rather than the full wrap around as used now, possably a cost / time saver at the factory and would save some waste ( I know it's small but it all count's. ) phil.

From what I've seen these motors have lower g/cm than the slightly lower rpm original releases, so what you gain on one you lose on the other. In other words, the impact of a tiny few more rpm is somewhat neutralised.

Now a truly revolutionary higher rpm motor with higher torque would be worth buying! But why can't this be done?

I raced the new Slot.it Flat 6 RS in our last Open Classic Sports car race on Friday night last week and was thrilled with the motor. I ran a Slot.it Chaparral CANAM with a 1 mm offset angle-winder pod and took out the round by 7.1 laps. The cars was very stable and the motor very drivable.

When I first got the motor I tried it in a Scale Auto Radical with an inline pod with 10:24 gearing and found it lacked punch but did not have time to play with the gear ratios so I raced another car that night. With the Classic I did play around with the gear ratios and it made a huge difference.

What ratio are you running Ray?
I've got 12:30 in my R390 which seems OK, I was struggling a bit with punch out of the corners racing at Armchair Racer last Wednesday. Similar setup to yours, it had good top end though.
Thinking of shortening the gears up, hopefully it might rev a bit harder as well.

I'm also setting up a couple of Radicals with these donks, not fully sorted it is the fastest plastic car on my track ATM.

HI Cam I ran 10:23 (2:30) in the inline and 12:32 (2:67) in the anglewinder

The Radical with this motor in it should be great I top Qualified in the Scale Modle Nationals with First Corner Crashes Radical.
