Yes but your picture (and all other shops having that picture) is showing car #2 which makes no sense as there was no Ferrari 512M #2 in LeMans 1971 (#2 was a Corvette).
The pair now with #12 and # 16 makes much more sense as they finished 3rd and 4th im LM 1971.

RRP £99.00. Thats one hell of an expensive lump of perspex? 2x 35.00cars = 70.00 + 29.00 for box? = 99.00
QUOTE But UK prices are not competitive against German prices (at least for me her in Switzerland)??????????
If you deal with a recognised full time dealer in the UK shipments outside the EU (Switzerland included) can be without VAT saving you 14.89% off the advertsied prices.

To be fair Sean, this is only the rrp so I have no doubt you and the other dealers will do a little better than that on the price. Also, at £45 each car for a limited edition model and £10.00 for the box that is not a bad price compared to other limited editions.

I am gonna treat myself to one, and I don't get a staff discount!

Sean, i know that very well (by the way: did you receive my order this morning, last time i used your secure online-order form it didn't work !!) but when i deal with a recognised full time dealer in German i can also deduct german VAT of 16%.

the slot-it 3 will fly off the shelf by collectors and racers- have to say slot-it could make a 'moped' mustang and we'd all flock to it - they do deservedly have the midas touch.

the spirit combo - they do look good I've only just started collecting (Scaly TVR 400 and Fly Lola T70) and once I've completed these I might either turn to the Spirit Ferrara 512 (or Fly). As such should I get these? Dilemmas, dilemmas! Mind made up - I will stick to general releases and not specials others the £'s mount up. Then again...........must be strong

I would like to add further by saying that it does look a nice set, and they are of course Ferrari's. It is far cheaper than the £££ I paid for the 3 car 'Racer' Daytona set purchased earlier in the year, but then again it is hand made and limited to 200 units.
I will add this Spirit set to my wants list, as I am collecting the Ferrari 512M's, but it will be behind the Slot.It Porsche set and Fly team viper set.

the vipers wipe the floor <and skirting boards> with just about everything
the only car to trouble them is the scaley f1 renault

Last week I have seen it in a Barcelona store. the box its not big, it's BIG.

The price here is 8 Euro for the box above the two cars in the same series and the same dealer. But the set is very nice, the cars are beatiful and they have the right numbers (old Le Mans fan).

I understand that to post prices here it's not for me, but if you feel against it, say so, and you'll have prices too.

delfi...

has spirit improved or changed the shape/mold slightly on the 512M?

I think its fair to say the initial pair weren't generally well received in terms of out of the box performance and scale accuracy with regard to the "dome" - they were typically described as squished?!

I have a soft spot for Ferrari and Le Mans of that era, but have been scared off Spirit....

Just looking for an updated opinion on this make and model.

Cheers, Ken R
