I am new to slot car tracks. I have been looking around in the tracks section and i see alot of tracks very nice scenery. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a site that has tips on modeling scenery. also any tips on track layouts or anything like that would be greatly apreciated. By the way this is going to be a permanent track.

I know that, www.oldslotracer.com has some good tracks you can look at for scenery ideas. i have used alot of the stuuff i have seen there on my sport track.

That 'J' design is pretty clever Dome! A lot of track in a tight space and looks to make for very fast laps. Do you feel it's challenging enough?

I apreciate all the quick responses and i found all of the info useful. Also what are the deminsios of you tracks. I am thinking about building a 5.5 by 10 track which i think will be decent size that's the maximum amount of space in my room that i can use

What is the track type you are using? if it is Scalextric sport/classic i can draw you up a few ideas.

hey Dome - I was just browsing as the 2 & 8 yos walked in - it was generally aknowleged that the track was "Look - Racing cars" and "Cool" particularly the night shots (which I now have to emulate when we build the home track dammit!)
