Two weeks ago I was asked by a college if I still raced slotcars. I applied "Yes" and then my college said that he had a friend who had a go-kart center. The go-kart center was once given a racetrack by the danish racingdriver Thorkild Thyrring and the go-kart center no longer had use for the racetrack but he was not sure if it was a Scalextric track. I could get it for free if I was interested!
Well, Thorkild Thyrring is on every pack of Scalextric you buy in Denmark so I took the chance and said "Yes" to the race track.
Today the track came in through the door!
Four tables (each 122cm x 240cm) - the racetrack is the 4 lane Brand Hatch with buildings, scenery and much more - ALL FOR FREE!!!!

Now I only need to clean the track good and find a place to put it up!

Brands Hatch is my total favourite track of all time I'm totally jealous.

Please put up the pictures when you have it assembled - it should be sensational

I should find time on monday to put the pieces together - and I will of course take some pictures of the whole track!

Does anybody have a clue what laptimes would be on this kind of track?
I must say that I intend to run without magnets.
