The NWSCC track will be the old Bolton 5 lane track - re-assembled and partly refurbished in our new clubhouse.
Bolton are moving to smaller room and so we have acquired the track for our new club.
Anyone who knows this track will know what a good track it is to race on and hopefully we will continue its racing tradition in North Wales.
More details as we get things up and running

Our building has been repainted - it has had new floor boards laid and its been carpetted, plus we have fitted new lighting and rewired some of the electrics, and built a drivers rostrum ---------------
We also now have the track at our clubhouse -- after a day at Bolton dismantling and collecting it !
Its been cleaned and will shortly be painted - re-assembled and fully rewired !
The work is under way and hopefully won't take too long before we are racing on it !

Progress report -
The track is now rebuilt and screwed to the floor.
We have replaced some of the track braid and rewired everything with several loops for consistent track power.
The track will be run on 14 volts and 20 amps per lane - so there will be no lack of power whatever cars you run.
We have still got to finish repainting and replacing track barriers and setting up the lap counting equipment, then its just a case of finishing off the clubroom with some shelving and a race control station plus some banners and things and away we go.
We should be sorted for opening in January 2012.
A bit later than we hoped but we are trying to get it right first time.

Thanks for the good wishes --- Yes its taken a while so far with about six of us putting in bits of spare time as often as we can !
We will very shortly be posting some pictures once we have the track looking respectable enough - I'm not sure anyone wants to see bits of primered track barrier and coils of wire lying on track sections !
