Here`s my 1/40 scale Jouef Ford GT40s. Made in the late 1960s/early 1970s.
The red car is rare as it has a brass guide.
The car with the chequered flag is a "Competition Decor"(race tuned) model & one of the hardest Jouefs to find.
The number 90 car is the first slot car I ever received (along with a Porsche GT) back in Christmas 1968.

the GT40´s look great.
what i really like about the original GT40 is the cooling opening in the front hood, too sad that Joeuf did not get that right, along with the headlights, but i think that has been the only possibility to gain enough space for the steering front wheels.

Kev, the GT40s look great, especially like the red one.. As usual, on your track they look excellent...

A Merry Christmas to you, your family, and all at NERCS...
.... I hope to visit the club in the new year.

All the best.. Martin.
