Hey All,
My group is looking to run a Ninco Dakar race at a slot car show to promote the hobby. Racers will run against each other. I need help in putting the rules together and what can and not be allowed. Don't want to bite off more than I can handle. Please help a fellow racer out. DonaldW

I'm not much involved in the rule-making side of things but if it's just a one-off show and just Ninco, then you'd be advised to keep it simple. Maybe have different classes according to vehicle - Pro-trucks v Pro-trucks, Pajeros v Pajeros. You could also sub-divide into magnet or non-magnetic. In otherwords, basically out-of-the-box racing.

If you really want to take the plunge you could allow for a class of prepared vehicles. These would be vehicles with lightened shells and weight added to the chassis etc.

Maybe include a round just for kids, or just for personalised decorations etc etc
