Now -
I am glad to see they are also producing a Digital version BUT I feel they have totally missed the boat by about one year.
Their system sounds like it has the basics of Scalextric Digital, in that is will be backwardly compatible with existing cars and track. Bearing in mind that Scalextric Digital will be also compatible with Ninco track at least on a homeset level, I fail to see (admittedly with the limited info released as yet) how they expect to hold or gain a market level when their release has to be so long after the other three.
Backward compatibility is THE main Digital issue for me so from my point of view SCX and Carrera are out of the picture also.
Time will tell but I think it is a shame they left it so long.
