All of the 1/32 world (except for Japan) uses 3/32" (0.093") axles. Ninco uses 2.5 mm axles which are roughly 0.0054" larger. Thus, Ninco wheels will be a poor fit on Scalextric axles and/or Scalextric chassis will require that the bearing surfaces be enlarged to 2.5 mm to accept Ninco axles (Ninco bearings may snap into Scalextric chassis but I have never tried it) So, I guess the answer is that it can be done but it is not a simple matter of swapping wheels.

BWA wheels 32001 are 3/32 set screw wheels that will accept Indy Grip sillicones made for Ninco classic wheels. The BWA wheels are on this page at Professor Motor. If you click the "tires that fit" link it will take you to this page where you can figure out that IG2002 - the Ninco Classic Indy Grips - will fit this wheel.

A variety of inserts are available for the BWA wheels, including some that look like the Ninco Classic whire wheels.

Hope this helps,

Yes, go for the BWA solution instead of spending time to make the wheels run.
He has a nice variety of inserts and wheels.
