JUST A REMINDER THAT IT IS 1/32ND SPORTSCARS THIS THURSDAY, OH AND YOU GET TO RACE YOUR OWN HIGH SPEED BIT OF SUPERFAST MACHINERY ( NOTHING P r OXY ABOUT THAT
).

We will be having not 1 but 2 SUPERSTARS of BSCRA joining us ( World , National and European titles a plenty between them) tommorow, so I hope all the Thursday night regulars can put on a good show for our guests.


Look forward to seeing you all and making any BSCRA members welcome.

A PROPER NIGHTS FAST FUN WAS HAD BY ALL LAST THURSDAY!!

Many thanks to all the BSCRA Thursday night regulars who put on a ' TOP DRAWER, FIRST CLASS ' evening for our ' ELITE GUESTS' .


Always a pleasure to have the BSCRA Chairman ( James Cleave) come and play , but with the added bonus of a ' REAL RACING LEGEND' Mark Harrison coming along for a chat and play , just made the evening that much better, and many thanks to them both for making the effort to come along.


The racing saw a ' GREAT ' win for yours truly in my G12 powered HPD ox2b ahead of a full field of Strap powered 1/32nd Sports ( and 43.5 laps in 3 mins too), that was headed by Mark Harrison then James who took final podium position.


Next week it's all about 1/24th Open G12 Sports, so should be another ' FANTASTIC NIGHT' at NLSME HQ.

Once again Green Flag at 8pm , SO SEE ALL YOU TRUE SPEED DEMONS THERE.

A QUALITY TURN OUT LAST WEEK FOR OPEN G12 CARS, SAW ANOTHER GOOD WIN FOR YOURS TRULY!!!!


This week ' THE MAIN EVENT ' at NLSME HQ is the return of the 1/24th scale Group c cars for another 1 hour enduro.


Should be ' FAST, FRANTIC AND FUN ', so I look forward to seeing all you ' SPEED DEMONS' tommorrow night.


Green flag at 8pm.

Last Thursdays Team Race saw 5 teams taking part and racing of the ' HIGHEST ORDER' around the NLSME THUNDER PARK.


With box space limited due to the fine turn out and Car Park tickets being given out by Bob H
, frantic , fast fun was had by all.

A good win by YOURS TRULY and his SUPERSTAR team partner was had from a very happy Cas and Greg combo, with John O and Cliff taking the 3rd spot.

This week 1/32nd production cars take the spotlight.


I look forward to welcoming the ' MASSED ' ranks.

Thankyou to all the Thursday Night NLSME regulars who are making club nights Good , Competitive fun to be part of.
Last Thursday was no exception, with a good turn out for 1/32nd Production car racing.


40 laps + are is the target for these machines around the NLSME RACEWAY , and they did not let us down .

With great racing throughout the night, the win was taken by Yours Truly again in front of Ian , Bob and Martin.
Top Falcon runner was John Ovens who came home in 5th place( very well done John).


This week it's Saloon cars as the NLSME National hopefuls prepare for ' THE BIG ONE ' , which this year takes place in Blackpool.


Good luck to all NLSME BSCRA competitors taking part this weekend.

Doors open this Thursday at 7.00pm for a little extra practice.

Just a quick reminder to all NLSME BSCRA racers, that this Thursday is Saloon cars and the last chance to get rid of the ' Gremlins' in the Nationals kit before ' THE BIG ONE' in Blackpool this weekend.


DOORS WILL BE OPEN AT 7.00PM, to allow for the large numbers to get settled and pit space.

After the weekends ' BIG ONE' in Blackpool, and very well done to all NLSME BSCRA RACERS who made overall finals ( Myself and Greg makin 2 each and Greg in top 3 of Saloon) , Ian on taking Main Grade Saloon title and Cliff making the novice saloon final
, It's back to ' GREAT CLUB racing this week with the return of the 1/32nd Group C cars team race.


Green flag drops at 8.00pm so if your going to be late contact someone and we can hold some pit space for you ( limited numbers).

Thursday night BSCRA racers.

Myself and Ian Fisher are going to be making changes to the braid ( as it has been abused in some places along with the barriers by various unmentionables and non NLSME members) and we also intend to change to a power supply and not have battery power( should make the National class BSCRA cars fly around NLSME RACEWAY).

A BIG THANKYOU TO ALL NLSME THURSDAY NIGHT RACERS AND OUR PAYING ( 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE BY SOME OF THEM ) GUESTS FOR ONCE AGAIN CLEANING THE TRACK AND HELPING TO MANTAIN IT.


For the 3rd or 4th time now Yellow lane has been sorted and the track is running at it's best.


Last Thursday saw another win for yours truly from Bob H , Martin and Ian rounding out the top 4 in the final.
This week it's the turn of ' The Mighty' BSCRA F1 cars to grace our track.


I look forward to seeing you all there for what should another great night.

Now back after a couple of weeks out (due to my good lady being very ill), I will be welcoming all to the latest round of the club team championship.

Tommorow night sees the turn of the 1/24th Group C cars to do battle around The North London ' SPEED DOME'!


Hope to see you all there for what should be a GREAT night of fun and frolics.

Have to say how great it was to back racing at The Very Best Club Night in the Country!

Great turn out Guys and really some fantastic racing throughout the evening.


Me and Mr E took the win in our Emka Aston Martin with yours truly taking fastest driver of the night, in 2nd place after a really good run was Greg and Cliff in their fab looking Jaguar xjr6, then the not so lucky Bob and Brian team Ace with the most battered Nissan March you'd ever seen by the end of the night with plenty of mechanical problems along the way and rounding out the top 4 Ian and Franz in their Porsche 962 with suffered all types of mechanical gremlins at the start and never really recovered.

Next week sees 1/32nd Production cars, so I hope to see you all back for some fun and frolics.

Well done to all the NLSME Thursday night members who took part in last Saturdays BSCRA Classics FUN day event at Ipswichh scc.

A good turn out on the hottest day of the year and great racing with plenty of banter plus a BBQ, ensured everyone went home with a happy smiling face and looking forward to next years event.

On a sadder note , the news of Derick Cooper passing away on Saturday after a long illness, has robbed us of one of ' THE GOOD OLD BOYS ' of British Slot Car Racing and Im sure you'll all support me in sending our deepest thoughts to his family.
On that note I dedicate my win in F32 on Saturday to his memory, I'm sure he will be looking down and approve.

The ' MIGHTY 1/24TH GROUP C CARS' grace NLSME raceway this Thursday as once again it's Team Race time.


Looking forward to a good turn out of Porsche's, Aston Martins, Spice's and Jaguars to do battle around ' THE HOME OF NATIONAL CHAMPIONS'.

A BIG THANKYOU, to everyone who made Sundays Falcon Pro event the great succes it was.
Also to all the NLSME Thursday members who took time out on Saturday to clean the track, hoover the building , make up the lane stickers, and generally make it a pleasant place for our guests to visit and race in on Sunday, WELL DONE GUYS!!!!


This Thursday sees the 1/24th scale Group C cars hit the track for another nail bitting , fast and furious round of the Team Championship series.

No ' pops' , ' repops ' , just great looking , and great performing Sportcars!!

The 1/32nd Group C cars are back in town for another great night of team race action.
Jaguar, Porsche, Aston Martin, Lancia, Mercedes, Spice, just some of the GREAT names that will be represented.


We have had some busy nights over the last couple of weeks, so keep it up gents , and if you want to be sure of pit space , then the earlier you get there the better.
