SCP-1LC buttons act as a brake function with c7042 ......anyone suggest what I'm doing wrong? The rest of the functions appear normal ie MS,PT,GHOST etc. Using Pyramid regulated 6-15vPS unit. LC all function with SSDS controllers

Do you have the correct 3.3v Cartridge for C7042, as opposed to the 5v Cartridge for C7030?

rdoc, I've got the same markings as you on the cartridge but look on the box, 3V3 is the key reference that differentiates it from the other hairdryers :

Luckily, MrF saved me buying the wrong one
- the giveaway was that he noticed it had Carrera compatible in the listing description

I've had a problem with the trigger reading, but after it actually locked up at max speed (AND caused the car to fly off and smash into the floor - cheers Mr Quality Control
) I loosened the pivot screw and haven't had any more issues and the LC works fine.

Unrelated, but I'm still waiting for Slot it to reply/send me the correct size plug for the C7042.

Thanks again guys. The SCP-1 was purchased from my supplier who knows my system and was aware that I was planning to link with the 7042 so I assume it is compataible, alas I no longer have the original packaging.

Very strange. Do you have an old 4 car base you can test it on? If it works correctly on that base, then it's not the right controller for the C7042. If it doesn't work there, either, then there's probably something wrong with the controller and your supplier should be able to replace it for you.
