I have an early Ninco Clio that is ideal for track novices to learn how to control a slot car correctly as it is magless, progressive, quite forgiving and yet fun to drive with plenty of tailout action.

What other alternatives should I be looking at to help new visitors to my track gain some experience and enjoyment?

My first thought was Nascars, either SCX or Scalextric but I haven't used any on track yet.

Well I have a couple of SCX Ford Escort MkIIs with the magnets removed and they go beautifully but I don't want to hand those over to a gung-ho novice!

But the C2s look like they have less to break off.
