Heat 15 may have proved to be the turning point on the night. Nic got a rerun due to a lane fault in the previous heat and put him on yellow lane between Nicholas and Pete. All three were in with a shout of winning overall. A first lap melee in the bus stop and coming over the bridge saw a lot of body banging between the drivers. Came came out worse on that one and lost 4 seconds. Nicholas was leading with just a couple laps to go when he deslotted on the straight coming out of the hairpin. This let Nic by and by the time the track had beeen switched off to allow th car to be marshalled, Pete had caught right up next to him.
Nic won that heat by 4 seconds from Pete with Nicholas in 3rd. Overall Nic won by about 3 seconds from Pete with Nicholas about 1.5 secionds back. A bit close.
