Thought I'd do this Mille Miglia style and have seen one with these numbers (might be retro, unfortunately). Wheels and inserts are Pendle-sourced, with the inserts drilled out.

Hi aerodynamic,
Nice model you have there. But if I may give you a tip, I don't know if you have a airbrush, but if you have one, you should try ALCLAD 2 Chrome, for the chrome parts. You'll find this paint on the Internet or in good model hobby shops. Now this paint is a very special one. What you do is spray paint the chrome parts with a gloss black, I use enamel paint from Humbrol but I think you can also chose acrylic paint but I'm no so familiar with that. leave it to dry at least for 24H. Than apply this ALCLAD paint in very thin layers leave at least 5Min between the layers, you'll will get a perfect chrome finish. and finely fixate this paint before touching it with your fingers with a gloss varnish. I think you'll love the finish.
