after coming across a world classics mk2 escort kit on ebay and missing out on buying it then after alot of searching i came across the world classics web site i thought i had nothing better to do but simply buy a mk2 escort kit.think again!i have sent emails to one of the addresses which just bounce straight back and the other you just dont get an answer.
does anybody know where i can buy one of these kits????

Why not just get an SCX Mk2 Escort and change the chassis (if that's what you want to do), it depends on what you are trying to achieve.

The SCX Escort MkII body is great! The motor, however is just not anything to get excited about, putting it mildly. The chassis is good with the Slot.it converter to replace the motor with a Slot.it motor.

Which converter is that?!? Is it for the V12 or the Flat 6?

Slot It do adapters to fit Mabuchi S Can motors into SCX cars, Team Slot and MSC do adapters to fit NC2 sized motors into SCX cars, though an SCX Escort with an Avant Slot 27K motor in would be uncontrollable.

The Escort goes quite well with the 21K Mabuchi S Can motor from slot.it, geared with a 9 tooth pinion and a 26 tooth crown.

A SlotIt motor with an SCX adaptor will not reach the crown gear on the axle to hold the axle in place. Anyway, for the price of that is you feel that a 16000rpm SCX motor is not enough (in scale speed terms it probably is) then it's cheaper and easier to upgrade to an SCX 18000rpm - or higher - motor.
