All mine fit

If you got your tyres from me I definitely had the correct size as all mine fit

Some of the tyres are a little prone to sliding on the wheels

This is because some of the wheels have a smaller width rib in the middle

This means that you just need to keep an eye on you car between heats

A little car maintenance ie keep braids clean and neat, make sure LED is dust free clean and re seat you tyres after EVERY HEAT you run

Also please bear in mind that the LMP cars were ment to be the START CARS these have more than enough room for the tyres and fit well, si if you choose to run another LMP scalextric car and the wheels are slightly different then any problems are down to you to fix with in the posted rules for the class

Here they are for reference

LMP Class - Audi, Peugeot, Lola, Cadillac Northstar, MG Lola, Porsche RS Spyder, LMP Start Cars
GT Class - Aston Martin DBR9, Ferrari F430, FORD GT, JAGUAR XKRS, Porsche 911/977 GT3R, TVR Tuscan 400R, Chevrolet Corvette C6R, Jaguar XKR GT3, Audi R8 LMS, Lamborghini Gallardo, Start Pro Racing

Race Format 6 Time Limited Heats

3 Heats x LMP
3 Heats x GT

Points for race position also 1 point per lap completed

Each Car Must Be Run 3 Times You Can Choose Which Heat Each Class Runs In
So we could get 5 LMP v 1 GT Car or 3 each or well you get the Picture

LMP Start Car is the Recommended Car for LPM Class
Please Note NO SPORT CARS Allowed Also Please don't spend loads on cars as they perform pretty much the same on our track

Cars MUST RUN STANDARD SCALEXTRIC MOTOR and SCALEXTRIC DIGITAL CHIP

ONLY Modifications Allowed Are WEIGHT MAY BE ADDED, SCALEXTRIC SPORT SILICONE TYRES ON REARS & FRONT TYRES MAY BE CHANGED

Each Class Will Be Given Different Power Rating and Fuel Usages and Fuel Tank Size

Any Questions Please ASK Before You Do It

Are there different types of sport tyre.
According to the catalogue they only did 6 different sport tyres.
Maybe there is a discrepency in the lmp/gt tyres.
I have an audi r8, corvette c6r, porche spyder and peugeot all these cars the tyres fit but ride from side to side so i have glued them on or they bind on the chassis.
Garys start car also has the same problem I think I supplied him the tyres also.
We may need to delete the lola as the side wall is to deep for this car.
They would have to also be glued on and the arches ground out to run or use a different tyre.

No need for different tyres

It fits on mine again, what are you doing to your cars ????

If you space the rear axle correctly it is tight but there is just enough room

They slide as I stated before turn the tyre inside out and you will see the recess is wider than the plastic wheel ones

This is because the SPORT Metal wheels have a wider spine to them, But they then need a new axle bearings and spur gear so not going there

I can have a look at your car if you want
after all you did do OK with my Aston the other week

No it doesn't the tyre is toucking the arch at the front lower edge.
So the conclusion of this is we will stick with the sport tyre because they are cheaper and michael has a shed load of them.
To my knoledge they do fit the gt aston, lola aston and the ford gt 40.
You will have to glue them on for some of the cars as the central rib is smaller.
As for the mg lola you can dremel out the arch to allow the wheels to rotate.
