i picked up a fairly tidy sierra cosworth bare chassis/shell and thought it would make a nice "mate" for my old original one from back in the day. no worries with all the running gear except the "floppy" front suspension set up. i never really liked the set up anyway so with a little trimming and a bit of plasticard , i chucked in a solid front axle. well chuffed too was i! then a little while after i saw a copy of the service sheets on scalextric-car.co.uk and it looks like both types were produced. i'm not sure wether i'm pleased that i resolved the issue or miffed that it i was beaten to it!

Always had a soft spot for the Scaley Sierra.
