On one of my travels through the dark and dusty pages of this forum, I came across this article. It would seem that we have always had ghosts in the machine right from the start.

Looking at the date, it sounds like he was using the old Electronic lap counter (using the guide to trip the counter) which counted laps per lane and not by the car like the current Digital Lap counter (which uses an LED sensor).

What do you think?
