Ideas to make it more realistic Frank....well if it's an inner city street in the UK then it needs a group of hoodies standing on the corners shouting at a pensioner!!!

But seriously, maybe a bit of moss or weeds growing through the paving and up the fence/ wall.

Looks great by the way

Awww... I was hoping for decorative iron work between those piers.

A few struggling weeds in the cracks at the base of the fence maybe. A bit of windblown dirt and debris. But they're finishing touches for later in the show.

Is it my imagination, or is this at a smaller scale than 1:32?

Uuuarg,

Embs, your right with an iron fence. I created one and must say that looks much better than a wooden one.

Here is the result.

Some color and weathering and the fence is finished

Also the street surface is ready. Now i can starting to detail this scenery.

The iron fence looks much better Frank. The wooden pickets just didn't look right with the formal brick piers. Perhaps it was just because they were straight cut. Fancy topped ones might have looked better. But the iron work is much more fitting.

Now it needs a decaying mansion in the background.

The paintjob on the fence is done.

First sprayed it shiny gold and than a brushing with black powder and fixed it with thinner.

made some points with brown oil color as rust. At least plant some weeds.

And here is the finished fence.

Hope i can give few of you some inspirations for some details.
Next i have to create some caracters as crew, actors and spectators.
Upps, haven´t i said that this will become a film set?

Frank, whatever it is, wherever it is, it looks brilliant. I'll be interested to see which cars you choose to photograph on there.Something tasteful I hope. As to where it could be, I doubt very much if it could be in the UK at all. Somebody would have nicked the metalwork by now and weighed it in for scrap!

And then the people get run over by an Audi R8 and the street gets totally clogged with police cars and ambulances.

The last details for the scene.

Bushes and tree are the only plants i want to build.
An iron fence door soldered from 1mm cupper wire. on top i glued 2mm glas pearls. Also aged the wooden fence for the other side of the street, so i get two different views on the diorama.

Now i can start to build the film crew and their equipment.
