Just a reminder that this show is on the 18th December

I have a few full size tables left and as a special offer to Slot Forum members can offer a limited number of half tables for collectors at £12 each.

So if you have a few bits and pieces that you want to sell, here is your opportunity and you will be able to get in early with the other traders to pick up those bargains!

After the winter Milton Keynes show, Orpington is fast proving to be the second most popular swapmeet so it is well worth attending.

Seven of us from the SSRC went to the Orpington Swapmeet today and found it to be very enjoyable.

The hall was bright and roomy, there was excellent reasonably priced food, a good mixture of small and larger traders offering pretty well anything you might have wanted to buy and a nice friendly atmosphere.

If you missed it I would recommend you go to the next one in July.

Thanks for the kind comments David (honest, I never gave him a free sandwich
)

Also thanks to everyone who attended to make this second show as successful as the first.
But there is room for improvement, I can take nearly half as many tables again as were booked for the first two shows and I would really like to get some of the traders and collectors from Europe coming to the event and make this the British 'Slotmania'.

Next event is on the 9th July 2005 so please try to make a gap in your diaries to attend, you won't be disappointed

Sorry Phil,

We missed this one. I booked the car in for a service without checking the date. Doh!. We will make it to the July one instead that will give me a chance to save up a bit more to spend.

Next winters show is now booked and will be on the 26th November 2005.

I believe this years winter event was a little close to Christmas so I hope next years earlier date will suit people better.

And don't forget the Summer event will be on the 9th July.
