You may have to remind me of the cars pedigree, Nick!
Toivenen, Vatinen or someone elsenen? I have a friend whose owned several RS1800s and would probably have reference material available of whoever it is.

You can keep the Porsche. If it's any help, I could probably come up with a set of original running gear for it, but the tyres would be rock hard!

Unfortunately the steering unit in the Porsche seems to be particular to that car. I have several spare F1 front units but the 2 mounting screws are much closer together than the Porsche. Very slightly wider track but same wheels, tyres and guide.

Did the driver have any visible birthmarks or wear any rings? Had he shaved that morning? Colour of buttons on overalls?

The 962 "wheeltrims" are a good fit on the rear of the car. The front ones look a bit vulnerable - especially if there's a lady driver involved!

Nick, before I forget again, Robin is quite impressed with your Fulham FC car and would very much like to commission you to do one for him.

He has a plain NSR Mosler body he would like it done to so that should allow you to have it say "Fulham Football Club, established the year of our Lord 1879" across the bonnet!

Hi Nick.

Are you still using Airfix track at home?

If so, I have a present for you.
