Peter,

Just for your interest the Fly Classic Porsche 908/3 that I got off you seems to really "fly" around my test track, more so than the Fly Lancia Beta Montecarlo that I have. Almost tempted to have another one! (Perhaps a relivery project
). As ever the real test will be to see how it goes around the club track but, until then I'm really pleased with it.
To race them I suppose they would be categorised in "Fly Classic", "Porsche" or "60's Sports Car" classes.

Shame there is no Tuesday testing at the moment but of course half term is approaching.

What else do you have on offer?

I still have a couple of the green an' yeller Porsches, and I also have these:

Brand new - £18.00, one left.

Raced once at Bowlextric - £15.00

Tested only for about 10 laps - £15.00

Let me know if you want any of them.

Hopefully a picture will appear

and it has

That's a first for me and I thought I was a picture posting dummy
. This is a relivery of my old Scalextric CK2 Porsche 904 which I've had since the 60's. Its just a generic type race car using pattos place decals. Just need to sort out the massive tramping.

Some more pictures to come in due course. Well this has taken me an absolute age to do.

Hello,

There I was hoping to do some spray painting on Hugh's NASCAR, one of my Slot.It Porsche 956's and the top of a Scalextric Sauber but I forgot it was the start of Wimbledon which explains the bloody rain.

At last I've got round to taking some photos of my re-painted MRRC Toyota Celica Group 5 car, complete with paint chips and dents where everyone keeps bashing into it! I think its looks very striking in yellow and black and is a definite improvement over the blue.

Sorry if the pictures are a bit BIG but I'm still learning how to do it.

If you are out there, I intend to take and publish some photos of your NASCAR bodyshell that I have recently completed for you. Hopefully I will also have photos of my Artin NASCAR in Menards livery and my Scalextric Sauber in Kouros livery.

I'm really into this posting photos now that I found out how to do it.

Hello

This was Jordans old (but fast) Scalextric Sauber C9, which I bought off him so I could do a relivery in "Kouros" colours.

I still want to add some minor details to it, like mirrors, aerials and a wiper but took advantage of a day off and some terrific weather.

Hello

Not a slot topic but my very first RTA in 29 years of motor-biking. Some young "lady" drove out of her drive just 30 feet in front of me and claimed she didn't see me. I braked as hard as I could but couldn't avoid hitting her off-side front wing, falling back and off to the left.

By this stage I've got up, heaved the bike, a Triumph Trophy 900, back up onto its side stand and noted the buckled front wheel and damaged brand new Pirelli Diablo Strada front tyre. I'm just about to ring my wife and inform her I'm going to be late for the dinner party she has organised!!

She may well look in dispair but it was nothing compared to my annoyance
. I did manage to keep my cool. I was actually going quite slow and fortunately wasn't particularly hurt. Rafferty Newmans has assessed the damage to the bike as £3000 worth even though the picture seems to reflect otherwise. Well I was thinking of of changing it.

Hello

A couple of pictures just to show some detail changes including better rear wheel inserts and a whip aerial.

It looks better and I think after some testing work it goes better. Only racing it will tell.

Hugh,

If you've actually managed how to get into Slotforum and view the forums, here are a couple of views of your completed NASCAR.

The left hand side.

The right hand side.

If I say so myself I'm particularly please how well the gold pin-striping went on down the side and nose of the car. It needed a bit of very careful persuading around some of the conflicting curves. Now you'll get to race it in our forthcoming NASCAR series.

I hope to be getting a plain white Ford Taurus from America for myself soon.

Hello

My latest relivery is of my Proslot Chereau Porsche 911 GT2 which has turned into the Roock Racing Navision version using DMC decals obtained from Pendle Slot Racing.

Its still lacking the interior but that is coming soon.

turns left into a parking lot, no indication, and cuts me up.. i hit the bonnet of the car and flew straight over... luckily i was ok ( just a painful head ake ) but the bmw didn't look so good
