Oh Woodforde's Wherry, every time mate!
Thanks all for your kind words, even including Graham<G>

In fact it was re-diagnosed today as shingles!!
I thought that was what old biddies got from a carp diet, but apparently it's connected with chicken pox when you're a kid. I had two spots on me belly when I was 7 and a fortnight off school. I loved it!
But it stores up and hits you later.

7-10 days to clear, 3 weeks for the pain to go and huge pills, which make you feel sick and dizzy. There's them as would accuse me of that all my life!! Oh Joy!

Cheers,
Martin

Hi chaps. I'm touched and thankyou all for your kind words. You all seem to know more about this ailment than me!
It's uncomfortable, yes, but not too painful. Maybe the doc. caught it quick.
I managed an hour over the lathe today before the eye started weeping (I was standing on my own foot..arf arf!!)
Keep busy doing outside jobs on house and car I think. Close up does make it hurt a bit.

I read of a girl who had it on her right bum 4 times and she's only 20, so I'm lucky, I think

Nil desperandum, chums and thankyou all.

Hi Lloyd, back in and running. It was while staring at it wondering why it wouldn't run that the shingles hit.
Turned out it was one live wire that wasn't very live at all. My electrics son fixed it and it now runs nicely. Even gave it a wee road run yesterday and it pulled well, but needs running in before MoT.

Let's hope it's finally going to be a pleasure to own.

Paul, send triangle pics when it's done!
