dc-65x, I'm pleased that you like this aspect of the design. It was the intention from the start to 'showcase' the motor (see the first post). Of-course it looks so much better with Edo's vintage Mura than it did with my modern Parma. Having said that, I'd be very interested to know if there are any modern motors in Thingiedom that would'nt be frowned upon quite so much as the Parma? On second thoughts, nevermind. Maybe I shouldn't open that can of worms up here, I think it would require a new thread.

I think I know which build that is Sire. I read that thread from one end to the other way before I registered on this site 2 years ago. It inspired me no end. I marvelled at the skill on display and my eyes were left smarting from the bbqs. I see that tomorrow is its three year anniversary. I do hope its author returns to show us how it has turned out.

At present there is a recently hatched new body sat upon my work bench (dining table). This is going to be one hell of an ugly duckling (if I get it finished).
