Looking forward to it Grah

I finally got round to buying a Scalextric lap counter/timer over the weekend so I could do some sensible track testing. Best time for the P68 was 4.4s "leaded" and 4.5s "au natural". The car has noticeably less top speed with the ballast but is easier to drive carrying it's speed through the turns better. It'll be interesting to see how it goes on a club track. I reckon light will be the way - especially if Grah's car is anything to go by

By comparison, a sorted lead ballasted magnetless Scaley GT40 bests a quicker 4.3, the slippy slidey proxy Honda F1 4.8
and a Fly Ferrari 312S with magnet 3.1s.
