This is the first of several buildings I'm making for my home track and has been made using balsa, corrugated card. The 'pie & cake' glass cabinets were made from discarded plastic packaging. I've attempted to create something roughly resembling the 'temporary' structures that were often seen at British circuits during the mid to late 1960s.

Thanks for looking.

Very nice, I like it. My favourite are the displays on the left and right. Well done!
What are your future plans?

Cheers

Now THAT is fabulous! I simply love it and the glass cabinets are the bee's knees! I love the period-correct look too.

If this is just the beginning, I can't wait to see the rest of your buildings!

I need to build a snack-shack yet for my track...hmm...

It's now called "Pledge Multi-purpose wax" starts off whiteish but dries ok.

There's a thread on Britmodeller that describes a Lakeland product.

Having read the thread, it seems like this guy is a very experienced modeller and has done a fairly good test. "Acryllic floor polish" - just the ticket.
