As I was working down in Kent today I visited the HONK track for the first time, Dave was on site to guide me in for the final approach.
What a fantastic track, it really is very good, lap time for my Pancake Cup Porsche 917/10 was in the low 25 seconds, for my Porsche 917/30 it was 27 seconds, both of these times were on white lane, for comparison I was doing 15 second laps with a SG+ on very low tyres (it was scrapping in places).

Very, very good track for Pancakes.

And I've thought of a name for it "the Werburghring" named after the nearby village of Hoo St. Werburgh.

Which is why I use IPS. Scale size does not scale up to anything meaningful.

15mph sounds weedy, 1000mph just sounds daft (and assumes all cars are made to the same scale, which we know they are not), but 270 IPS does not sound totally mad, and one can picture it - a three inch car covering a 213' track in sixteen seconds.
