<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Good news! It's nice to have options when it comes to choice in RMS.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>... yes, and there will be more coming.
I hope to have
my own freeware and open source RMS called RazManager ready by August 2012. I will myself include support for oXigen, SSD (C7042 only) and limited support for analogue tracks, but those that are interested can write their own plug-ins to support other systems. Eventually, it will have some sort of support for RC cars as well.
Back in 2008, I got tired of my endless modifications of N-Digital, and started with RC cars instead. What got me back into slots again was when I saw the first oXigen presentation slides. They had "open" written all over them, and as Maurizio also wrote that car control was an absolutely paramount part of the design, I knew that oXigen was the way for me to go forward with some RMS ideas I had. But as some people in my area are running SSD, the SSD protocol is also open, oXigen and SSD are closely related and can to some extent be mixed, I recently bought a SSD track and three Pit-Pros, and will support that as well.
Anyway, I think that because of the general
open approach that Slot.it has taken with this, we will see a lot of different RMS options for oXigen in the future.
