QUOTE (Profoxcg @ 5 May 2012, 19:00) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>However I'm having a problem. I ran a car out of gas, I don't have a pit lane set up yet, so I kept re starting a new race but the car runs about of gas right after it passes the s/f line.

Not sure if I can help, but if you don't have a pit lane for now, in race settings, just click on the fuel folder and unclick the box for "Race with fuel management"

And when you start a race, where the fuel meter is, you drag the width of the column of the fuel meter, drag it to the left until it disappears.

QUOTE (pclapcounter @ 31 May 2012, 11:23) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yes it will , in fact in the options screen (tab page oXigen) you can specify the impact of the fuel on max power:
For example if you specify a fuel impact of 20% it mean that a car with 100L will have 80% of his max performance and a car with 40L will have 92% of his max performance.
The fuel impact option have no influence on "ghost" driver as there is no fuel management for "ghost" driver.
If you don't want to set the car performance against the fuel level then set the fuel impact option to 0 %.

oh wow, that is most excellent and impressive and thank you for your prompt reply, c'est tres sympas

I shall very soon buy this wonderful software

I had an intermittent and bizarre problem racing with Oxigen and PC Lap Counter last Saturday.
Once in a while, a car would stop 1 or 2 seconds after passing the finishing line.
It would not move again.
The only solution we found was to place the car before the finishing line and push it slowly pass the finishing line and then the car would start again.

Have others had this problem? Where does the problem lie?

PC is Windows 7 premier
FIRMWARE
Car is 2.03
Controller 2.03
Dongle 2.02

Cheers,
Chip

QUOTE (Slot.it @ 8 Aug 2012, 14:29) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hi Chip.
We will check it this side of the Channel, starting next week, In the meanwhile, please let me know of any developments.

Hi Maurizio,

Good news!!!
I updated lap counter to version 5.20f on Windows 7. did some testing before anyone showed up for race night. Only one glitch in which a car stopped responding and I had to push the car passed the start/finish line to get it going again.

So I was a bit nervous about race night....

Big turn out, many friends showed unexpectedly.... we raced a few hours, 8 cars racing at the same time.... calculated that in total we raced just under 3 000 laps (yes, three thousand laps) and all went very well.... the only time a car stopped working was when the battery died in the controller.

Everyone had an absolute blast. A complete success. I can't wait to do another race night. (this time with 10 cars and not 8).

Weird that i had one singular problem in the lone testing and on race night, with all cars racing at the same time, no problem at all.

So it's all good news, very good news!!! Oxigen and PC LapCounter works smoothly together. Thank you Maurizio!!
