Never used the driver display and position tower so I can't comment on those.
I use to have a lap counter (older type) but just wanted more information on a larger screen plus I wanted to be able to store all the race results.
The only way to do this is with a computer.
With the PC unit this can be done with either the software supplied, X-Lap or if you want more out of software then use b.yingling's software which is brilliant.
