I am considering setting up a permanent track in my garage. However, as the garage is used on a daily basis to store my car, it must be capable of being moved out of the way. I have not seen any tracks of this type although I think they are fairly common.

If you have an arrangement of this type I would be grateful if you could post some pictures just to give me some ideas. Any other information regarding moving permanent tracks out of the way would be of interest to me.

Thanks

I seem to remember reading an article in the past, I can't remember where, about constructing a track on boards which could be stored flat to a wall and was attached by a hinge. The track would have to be fairly flat of course, but you could store any buildings in a box and simply place them on the track when down.

I'm about to send my layout to the roof. I have the pulleys now I just need quite allot of rope. Hang ten and see if it works. I'll take lots of photos so you don't have to make the same mistakes
as me...
