The 5 Turbo is an overhead valve Renault only (unless you count Dacia

) unit. Absolutely nothing like the TU Peugeot/Citroen lump!

Didn't want anybody spending money un-necessarily!

Thank you Mr.C, I knew there was something else that the Renault unit was fitted to, but it didn't come to me at the time

At the risk of sounding pedantic (

too late) the 360 had the 2-litre OHC Volvo unit!

It's me again!

Sorry Coop, the 1.7 was a Renault motor too, as fitted to 5, 9, 11, 21 and even Trafic vans, just a larger capacity, slightly more modern unit i.e. OHC with rubber toothed timing belt drive.
