This one really caught my eye. Hope you enjoy the artistry and effort that goes in to these.

Although I'm biased I think the photos GetSlotted produce to show off the models are superb and really make them that bit harder to resist.

Too tempting as this one has been ordered to add to my rally stable.

QUOTE (tDI_Fahrer @ 25 May 2004, 22:24)I tried lots of time to photograph my slotcars in motion...
It's not easy...
You don't have to.

It's quite easy to get this photo with 5 minutes work on the computer with Photoshop.

We were thinking of running a slotcar photography competition sometime here on the forum. Anybody intertested?

Excellent picture of that great car!
I got mine yesterday, and the car is beautiful. The best looking SCX rally car that I have.

Edit:
After looking at the car again I can't stop wondering about why SCX has made a "Snow effect" car from the Wales rally...
From what I saw on tv there was no snow in that round. Has SCX got this wrong or did I miss something here?

SCX has a history full of confusion

for example it is rather surprizing that a company like SCX - being spanish and all that - make such fantastic mistakes - after all spanish slotcar enthusiast are rather famous for having a love affair with rally. So it is rather interesting to see that SCX has confused the Finnish rally with the Swedish rally - now for someone who does not know much about rally this confusion might be forgiven since both Sweden and Finland are in Scandinavia and so relatively close to each other. But for any rally enthusiast the difference would be gigantic - the thousand lake rally is run in Finland (the land of the thousand lakes) and a SUMMER RALLY - therefore it is amusing (or upsetting if you are a rally fan) to see all the SNOW EFFECT on the cars and tracks from SCX. Even more 'fun' considering that the summer temperatures in Finland can on occasion be rather high -they are after all rather close to the Russian mainland. The Swedish rally on the other hand is definitively a usually rather cold, icy and snowy exercise... and one that is recognizable as such in the rally world. So short answer... SCX confused when it comes to Rally? - Yes definitively...

Um - this is from the GB rally in November where Petter won the 2003 WRC. I don't think there was any snow last year during this event so I had made a logical step to presume SCX had modelled what the car would look like after a collison with one of the many wooly coated creatures that roam this part of the world!!

Here is a picture of David Piper's Ferrari P4 I took at the Brands Hatch Ferrari festival a couple of years ago, I've montaged in a photo of my Monogram Cooper Ford.

I know this wasn't the original idea of slot car photography suggested by Nuro but it's a bit of fun.

Sorry to go off topic.

Paul - I used a Fly chassis reduced in length and width there was still room to squeeze the kit interior in and added a MRRC driver and wheels.
