I use the syringe that came with a printer ink refil kit. It works great for accurate oiling.

I got mine from the bay. With oil in it and it was less than the cost of a Kronenbourg (the thinking man's unit of currency) including postage.

Be very careful to get oil specifically intended for plastic.

Oil for metal gears will destroy some plastics, and your bearing clips will fracture !!.

Myself and several of our buddies have been liberally using a synthetic model lubricant for the last 2 years in our HO cars and have had no problems at all

Thanks for the heads up Chris....Can't find the oiler on your site Tony, if you could PM me with the details that would be good. The oil will be used on my T-jets (NOS and Autoworld) so a mixture of plastic and metal gears

I have found Inox mx3, available in a 125ml bottle with pin oiler, to be an excellent lubricant, track rail cleaner and braid conditioner and it's compatible with plastics. It also solves the problems peculiar to digital racing including stuttering, unintended acceleration a loss of ID. Just apply a drop or two to each braid and drive your way to digital bliss. If anyone knows of a downside to this stuff i'd love to hear it.

I use Dr. Ds Slicker-n-Snot Racing Oil ("For Picky Racers..."). It is very similar to the Superlube sold by Slot Car Corner. If you ever race pancake cars oil is a special concern, nothing can spoil your day like having the oil give up and hearing the dreaded T-Jet squeek of death in the middle of a race. I have used this oil for a couple of years, it is plastic safe and it has never let me down.
