If you are willing to repaint and add detail yourself, you can find Revell 250s on eBay fairly cheaply. These cars were made in the thousands, both in kit form and as RTRs for nearly all Revell racing sets. They are very similar (perhaps better than) the Pink Kar version, but are definitely not rare or highly sought after.

The first issue of Model Car Racing edited by Bob Schleicher (of Slot Car Bible fame) had an article comparing the Revell Ferrari to the Pink Kar version. The magazine is sold out but this link should let you see a picture and part of the text. http://www.modelcarracingmag.com/Pages/home0.html Note that the Revell pictured is the cheapy set car version with ugly stickers. I have a couple of these in their vintage glory awaiting paint and running gear. The kit versions with adjustable chassis will still run very nicely (right, Al?) if you give them some new rubber.
